Sharp and heavy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use snips everyday. From cutting banding, to sheet metal before welding. These are some of the better ones I’ve used, and are solid. They have a very comfortable handle and grip zone. Supe sharp, and well balanced. Almost too solid as they are definitely heavy. This pair will be sitting in my banding machine until the day it gets lost, but I’m sure it will still be functional even then.

Fantastic straight tinner snips!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using these straight tinner snips for a couple days on various projects. They have cut through various materials with no problem. These are the best made snips I have ever used. They have just the right amount of weight to not slip easily out of your hand and the grip is perfect. You can't go wrong with these snips. They will get the job done easily and done right!

Great for Straight Cuts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for straight cuts. I used it to cut rolled aluminum flashing, stepped flashing, and some round 6" duct. It makes it easy to makes long straight cuts. On any of the thinner gauge materal like the rolled flashing, I found these snips to work better than the aviation snips. But when I tried to notch the thick guage flashing such as a drip edge, it struggled.

Smooth like butta!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These things are sharp! I don’t do a lot of duct work but I’ll tell you what these are good at otherwise. I used these cutting metal drywall corner beads and they snipped right through it like butter! The rugged durability expected from Wiss is there as always. These are also great for cutting vinyl siding as I just recently redid on my home.

Crisp, clean, effortless cuts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product cuts effortlessly! I got it for cutting metal trimmings for refrigeration coolers and metal flashing. They cut with great precision for straight cuts. Awesome for larger radial cuts. The cuts are smooth and crisp. 10/10, recommend for heavy use and love the extra leverage on the 10" handles. Fits nicely in my maintenance tote

Cuts aluminum with ease

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These tin snips work great. I’ve only used them on one project so far but they definitely meet my expectations. I built a kegerator and used a piece of aluminum gutter to create a drip tray. These snips helped me cut right through like butter and made it easy to get nice straight lines with easy cuts. Look forward to using them again.

Ergonomic and Hardy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These snips cruise through the stainless mesh I use on a daily basis on the job. The coating on the dipped handle has great traction and, so far, is pretty hardy. The dip has held up against transmission fluid and motor oil. At first I had so trouble with binding when opening, but once I got them worked in and oiled, use is a breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While making a repair to a roof vent, snips handled with ease and I was able to make smooth cuts of roofing shingles. I was able to trim vent cover and make necessary repairs. I highly recommend this tool for the roofing professionals. High quality and well made tool. Definitely will keep this tool handy in my main tool bag at work.

Great Quality Tin Snips for Straight Cuts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blades on the snips have been used to cut thin sheet metal and guttering with ease. The oversized hand grips allow for easy use with larger hands, even wearing abrasion resistant gloves. After a week or so of usage a drop of 3-in-1 oil in the hinge brought the action back to as-new condition. Showing no signs of blade wear.

Do it all tin shears

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these shears. The rubber coating on the handles feels great. I've used these with ease on thicker hvac sheet metal and they cut like butter. I even brought them home from work when I needed to trim some trees around the house. Unconventional but worked in a pinch. I would 100% recommend and need a second one for home.

Fantastic snips for sheet metal work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these 12 inch snips to fabricate a 16ga and 14ga sheet metal Mig welder cart, instead of my cut-off wheel. They cut so well, and with less than expected force. Much quieter that a grinder too! No loud, obnoxious noise. No dust and vibrations. Just the radio, my son, Crescent 12 inch snips and a fun project.

Rugged tin snips just the right tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one rugged pair of tin snips. They came in very handy when I was installing corrugated tin siding on a theater set I was building. The plans called for the tin to be used as island siding. Numerous obstructions and odd shapes meant lots of precision cuts. These snips came through like the champ they are.

Quality shears at a excellent price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little stiff coming straight out of the pack, but that was expected. Once it loosened up it cuts like a dream. Not sure if I’ve ever had a pair of shears that cuts as easily as these do. The handles and of good quality, it cuts as straight as your skill can keep it. These will stay in my bag for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These snips are awesome. They make easy work of sheet metal, and will cut just about anything else you need them to! One unintended use I've really found they're awesome for is cutting thsoe pesky plastic clamshell packages. Handles are super comfortable and hoping they last a long time!

12" straight pattern tinner snips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The snips performed better tham expected. They are made with heavy, strong materials, the handle openings were large enough to fit my hands while wearing gloves, and they are sharp and sturdy enough to cut through any materials they were designed for. I'll use these for years to come.

Heavy duty snips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are some of the most heavy duty snips I’ve ever used. They’ve cut through everything I’ve tried them on. They are super sharp and are very big. My smaller hands can’t open the snips all the way with just one hand. Other than that they are great.

Superior Cutting Ability

Incredibly tough snips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Linear are some tough snips. Cut through anything you need them too like a hot knife through butter. Handles are comfy and don’t seem like they’ll be moving outta the hand at any point in time. Tons of leverage will cut anything you need.
