Super clean & easy cuts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these with one task in mind and that was cutting tool-leather (really thick and tough). When I received the shears I noticed what looks like small serrations on one of the blades & initially thought this might effect the look of cuts on leather. The serrations do not make noticeable places on any material I’ve cut with them thus far (doubled and quadrupled thick cardboard, leather, thick plastic (5 gallon bucket), and metal roof flashing). The only flaw I can find with the shears is that they are not Made In USA. Designed/Engineered/Tested in USA but made in China. Looking forward to see how long they keep such a sharp clean edge.

Nice engineering. Rough around the edges.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shears work great cutting through leather, wood veneer, cardboard, and zip ties. I used it Christmas morning to open packages for my children. I love the addition of the serrated edges on the bottom blade as well as the finger groove so that you have a comfortable grip. I only have 2 complaints. 1st. The shears are made for larger hands. My wife was unable to open and close them one handed properly. My 2nd complaint is the attention to detail. I work as a diecaster and failure to remove a sharp edge is a danger to our customers. On the outside edge of the thumb ring, it has some very sharp edges highlighted in the pictures. Overall very satisfied.

Well Made Shears

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was tired of cheap scissors being basically disposable, one and done type things. These say they'll cut roofing and siding, so I figured they will cut just about anything. First project was to make soft covers for vise jaws. I am working on restoring a knife, and don't want the pads marring it. I have a pair of leather driver gloves that are developing holes in the fingers and stitching coming loose, perfect material for what I need. The shears cut through the leather with ease, as if cutting wrapping paper. I anticipate getting many years out of these. Now to get the vice cleaned up.

Fantastic shears!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The moment I grabbed these shears I could feel the build quality, as well as comfort. They quickly became my go-to for any cutting job. These shears have been able to handle everything I've thrown at them very effortlessly; cardboard, plastic packaging, I even snipped a thin piece of wood just to see if I could. I like them so much, I even had my wife give them a shot with her sewing and she loves them, too. After using these shears I have decided I will not be able to go back to standard shears.

New favorite shears

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was going to take these to work for the odd jobs but I acquired them while doing a house remodel, and making Christmas gifts. I've cut everything with them, after getting clean cuts on leather, straight controllable cuts of ductwork, I was still able to zip through some wrapping paper then get straight back to cutting some vinyl. They are my new do everything shears, so I guess I'll be getting a second pair to take to work like these were supposed to.

Tough shears with capability to cut through lots!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had these shears for roughly almost a month now and I’ve loved using them everytime. I’ve cut through thick thick cardboard, flower stems, plastics of all sizes, and also things in my work trade (HVAC). The metal for the blades in inlaid into the handles themselves so it creates a more structured bond for the scissors making them more durable for cuts! I’ve found them to be useful in both my personal and professional life!

WOW, These Shears are Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shears cut paper and flooring with the same ease. I was shocked at the quality and workmanship. I was surprised that they were so sharp that paper and the tile on my floor cut with the same effort. I took them outside and used them to cut the bushes, and they did the same job. I would buy them, and highly recommended them to use on any job that requires cutting. Thank you for this excellent product.

Quality tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with the Crescent Weiss CW10TM shears. After using them for about a week, they have earned their spot in my tool bag. Upon opening the package, I did note that the seam on the red handle (both inside and out) could be buffed down a little more; the edge is uncomfortably sharp. When it comes to actually cutting things, I searched high and low to find normally difficult things for average scissors to cut. Carpet, cardboard boxes, tanned leather, rope, and finger sized wooden branches were no match for these choppers. I did not try cutting any metal because the packaging said they were not made to cut metal. The serrated blade did a good job of holding the cutting material in place. The titanium coated blades float past each other like butter sliding off a fine steak. These scissors are in a different league than the utility scissors I have purchased in the past.
