Still made like they used to make 'em

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This snip is what you need. Simple, straightforward, solid, reliable, and well-made. You can't argue with it's heritage or pedigree - Wiss snips have been at the top of the heap for many years with their timeless construction and function, and these are no different. Sharp edges, tight pivots, a good grip, no burrs or other defects. I haven't yet cut 8 miles of steel, so I can't tell you they'll hold up to years of professional use, but I don't see these giving up any time soon. If you are debating between these or a pair of knockoffs you'll find from your favorite internet supplier, don't hesitate and get these. Heck, these are probably even cheaper than the other ones and these are made in the USA.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Aviation Snip!!! Must have for the toolbox!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The snips were used to cut 18 gauge cold rolled sheet metal and 22 gauge sheet metal that was used to repair a wood burning in my shop. Also the snips were used to cut aluminum flashing. All cuts were able to be made easily, including long straight cuts and curved cuts. I really like the locking mechanism used to keep the snips in the closed position, it is easy to each and manipulate one handed. The handles allow for extended periods of cutting without fatigue. I am left handed and the snips were used easily either right or left handed.

Misleading Description
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Id like to start of by saying that these are indeed some of the best metal shears that I have ever used, others come close but these are better. They are quite tight when you get them, meaning that they won't open by themselves until they are broken in a bit not really an issue but something to point out. After they loosen up a bit they easily cut through tin roofing and the like. These shears deserve 5 stars, however due to being very mislead on the description I can not issue 5 Stars. Unfortunately the description is very far off as I thought I was getting the Straight, Left and Right cut shears not just the straight ones. I already own the straight shears and Did not need another pair, I wanted to try the left and rights but I did not receive them as stated in the description! very disappointed in that!

Tremendous Reliability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this pair of tin snips about a month ago and was able to really work it over the holidays. I do a lot of DIY projects and a versatile pair of snips like this is useful for more than just sheet metal. I’ve used these to snip heavy duty staples on boxes and pallets, open the crazy plastic packaging of new tolls and accessories, and even to snip back some thin all thread (6-32). Very impressed with the usefulness of this simple, timeless pair of snips.

Just a solid, high quality tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These snips are anything you could want in a tool. They feel great in your hand, with nicely molded handles. The weight is perfect too, you can tell they are made of high quality metal.
I got these to replace an older, generic pair of snips and it is a difference of night and day. I used them to install a tin ceiling, including circular holes for pot lights. They are definitely sharp and easy to use. The spring has a great response as well.

Does Exactly What I Need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] of your metal cutting projects. The soft and easy grip handles are made for comfort and long life. The grips are yellow, for easy identification and have a loop built in if you need to keep them secure. The grips have an off set stop position for a secure and comfort cutting action. The Snips can be easily used in your right or left hand. Smaller hands might find these a little harder to use.The release is better suited for right hand use but not impossible for the left hand. The jaws have a 1.5" cutting depth with a single cut. I have found that thin sheet metal doesn't distort with a maximum straight cut. The cutting blades are serrated that spreads the cutting force across jaws improving cut quality and tool life. All of the assembly nuts are machine pinned to allow tight and accurate blade movement with becoming loose over the life of the tool.

Nice and sharp, makes nice smooth cuts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these snips for the past month in my trade as an HVAC installer. The snips cut through sheet metal with ease. I cut through 30 awg panning and slips effortlessly. It had no problems cutting through the heavy steel furnace cabinet to install the return. With these comfortable grips, I had zero hand fatigue through all of my jobs. Nice smooth cuts, both straight and curves. I highly recommend these snips.

Great Pair of Snips
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Crescent metal master snips cut like butter! The handles are comfortable and the first finger and second finger notches help maintain control while cutting. I made both left and right cuts without too much effort and did not leave any jagged edges. I think the lock coming from the bottom upward instead of down from the top will prevent it from being broken like some I've had before.
