Lots of water for the price, but leaky.

I work outside as a highway technician, so water is a must. The gallon jug was a great purchase...or so I thought. It keeps my water cold, and my chest wet. The lid does not seal properly between the lid and the container, allowing water to drain (heavy dribble?) all over. It's quite frustrating for something designed to hold fluids. If it falls over in a truck, and you don't notice it, you just got a gallon of water all over the place. I've also had a few issues with the handle popping out of the side, but I'll chalk that up to the abuse I've put this thing through in the time I've had it. The jug itself is durable and easy to clean. If you're going to buy it, drink your water outside and lean over so you don't spill it all over yourself.

Leaks out top if on side & also spout drip upright

I have bought the 1 gallon and 2 gallon chiller water jugs. Both of the jugs leak out lid if on the side. Luckily I had them in a plastic box that collected all the water. It would help if the lid that you screw on had a rubber ring seal to help prevent leaks. Also, the 2 gallon chiller has a very slow drip leak out the faucet. We made sure the button was not pushed in. Both were returned after the first use. 09/2022. Please bring back Coleman quality! I did like the 2 gallon size and color. Sorry that it did not work out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] you never really know how much a galloon is till tyou try and drink out of this bad boy. used it for car camping and for some outdoor exercising and some beach days and it does the trick. fill it with some ice and the well insultated jug keeps the water cold all day. ergonomically fits well with carrying it full and super easy to screw on / off. coleman has been known for making great products and this is no different!

Lightweight and functional!

My ice maker has been down, so it has been a great help lately. It's just the right size for me to have ice for a few days without hauling out the big cooler. Amazing - keeps product cold!!!

I have tried it with both hot and cold drinks and definitely holds the temperature for many hours. It is taken to work on construction sites where it sits in the sun and elements of the weather. Perfect for football

My son needs a gallon water jug during high school football season in Arizona. He carries this everywhere with him. It takes a beating every single day. And this jug is indestructible!!! It keeps his water cold. And it holds enough water to get him through the day and both football practices (with one refill). I highly recommend it.

Replacement for same jug from 1995

This is a replacement for one I had since 1995. Unfortunately they don't survive being backed over by large trucks. The new one looks and feels the same but seems lighter. I hope it's because of the advancements in insulation technology. So far it works right but we'll see what it does when the temperature goes over 100 again.

Keeps it cool, very heavy and poorly designed top

Keeps water cold. Its huge, but handle makes it easy to carry. Biggest problem for me is that the top doesn’t close where the water spout is in the middle of the handle, so you can’t use the handle to hold it up to drink out of. Also would have been better with a straw since it’s so heavy when full
