This pressure switch is used to turn the pump on at 20 PSI and turn it off at 40 PSI. It controls the water pressure with its simple mechanism that keeps the pressure below a specified setting and shuts off the pump when water pressure is under 10 PSI. It protects the pump from damages caused by a suction break.
