Noisier than I expecred
I installed this fan after much research. I saw some people with concerns about the noise but I was hopeful I could overcome them. Unfortunately, I did not. The damper vibrates and causes an irritating rattle that I cannot seem to overcome. I have 4” flexible ducting wrapped in insulation with a 2’ straight run before it heads about 4’ out to the roof. I’m definitely disappointed it isn’t quieter.

Bathroom Exhaust Fan
It is an okay kind of product. Much noisier than stated on the product packaging and on the website. My 10+ year old exhaust was much quiter. Doesn't reduce moisture as quick as implied from the product description. Attic access was required to install the product. If I have to buy another exhaust fan for my bathroom, may not be buying this product again
No, I do not recommend this product.

Nice fan but pain in the @$$ cover
I've had this fan couple years now the fan itself works great but taking the cover down to clean and put back up is so aggravating! You get one side in then you can't see putting in the other side the springs always pop loose as you're sliding it in or the spring does slide in and pops loose from the cover. Seriously makes me want to lose my mind!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Comfortably quiet !
we got rid of our 5 year old loud fan and didn't believe that our new Broan bathroom fan would be much better. We were wonderfully surprised!!!! The new Broan fan was blissfully quiet, barely any noise at all. Finally, a bathroom fan that does the job, clears the moist air and yet is almost silent thank you to the Broan company!!!

Good Improvement over earlier models
This unit goes in quick, and has decent specs. While not as quiet as the pricier Panasonic units, it does the job nicely. I found just a little confusion on the removal of the wiring pocket inside the unit. A little better explanation could help here. Other than that, a good unit.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Easy installation
This unit replaced replaced an older (30+ yrs.) Nu-Tone fan. Easy replacement and modern looking. I dropped 1 star due to noise. The damper door rattles a bit - acceptable but enough noise that you won't run it too long.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Excellent replacement fan.
This is the only exhaust fan that I could find that is designed as a replacement when you do not have attic access for connecting to the exhaust conduit. Not an easy retro-fit, but doable.
Yes, I recommend this product.

fan operation is quiet......the installer should have put a larger, more powerful unit in our main bath.... vent on roof leaked(shingles), had to repair with our roofer.
