Great tool, but...
My son gave me an 18" chainsaw for my woodturning shop, which I use to prepare the timbers prior to turning.
I like it very much, even more for me because my right hand is inoperable and the tool let's me use with ease.
However, I noticed that lately it tend to deviate to the right and cannot keep it cutting in a straight line.
A person at the store who sold it, said it is probably the fault of the bar wearing. I just cannot find any confirmation and can't seem to find a department, which would give me some help in the matter.
Anybody able to help?
Yes, I recommend this product.

Works but not durable
I bought this chainsaw in October to remove a tree from my yard. It did well in cutting a tree that was close to 30” in diameter with some careful cutting. Made quick work of the limbs and trunk afterwards as well. However, after a month of light use, it started leaking chain oil out of the motor and through the body of the saw so it’s now only able to be used with a constant stream of chain oil replenishment. It was a really good saw but the fact that it only lasted a month is poor.

Light weight, always easy start, powerful
5 years ago
This saw has proven itself many times over the year. Unlike gas saws, it starts every time. I have used it to cut trees (oak, popular, hickory, pine) up to 36 inch diameter for firewood and some sent to sawmill. It is much lighter than other saws, but powerful enough to do the job quickly. I live in a wooded area and need to keep trimming and removing trees from around the house and access road. The chain is easy to sharpen on the saw or removed to sharpen. in a vise.

Very Handy
This is a sweet chainsaw that packs 15 amps of power. I gone through 8" logs fairly easily. Invested in a couple of heavy duty 12 gauge 50' cords and have very little loss of power when cutting nearly 100' from the power source. Highly recommended for cleaning up after bad storms.

3rd year owning / using a GREAT AC. chainsaw
4 years ago
I cut wood in forest to 3' to 8' & bring loads home. Once home, I use the 15 amp saw to cut firewood to length that fits woodstove doorway. >> Remember some pieces exceed 4' in diameter, so I cut these to 8" width & cut to fit door width.
