Problem
This sander was really nice for the first few times I used it. Fairly light weight. The lever to install new sandpaper is hard to pull out. However after I had about one hour's worth of use, the on-and-off switch failed.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A Great Choice

I own couple of sanders and they fit my skill level and the jobs I take on. I am a intermediate level weekend woodworker with 50+ years of furniture build and restoration. BD has always worked for me.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Belt sander

Looks stupid. Don't need adjustable hand position. A person's hand is adjustable and moveable. Model # BR400 was excellent. Don't know why companies do things worse (make items) than before.
