Always the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool is always ready to go and able to do the tough work. This tool is tough to the point I had dropped my first one off a roof up three stories and the only issue it had was a couple dings in the outer body. That had to work for a few years after dropping it and made it easier for the big rig to destroy it after my son dropped in the parking lot where we were working and didn't realize what happened. When turned around the 18 wheeler hit it with the tires on side and finished it. Wasn't planning on replacing it but immediately went out and got another one. This is just as good as the old one! I have always been happy with my hammer tack.

must not be to important

i gave my honest oppinion about product, hopeing for a response on how to fix the problem of mine breaking. i put negative & possitive in my review. now you say you cant put my reveiw in because it didnt follow guidelines. ok fine but thats all you said back. im thinking if a customer was important like you say then you would try to resolve my issues with hammer tacker "slap stapler". again the mechanical part on the front that sends the staple out always breaks on mine. a new one or part to fix would be great! but it seems due to me putting the problem in my review, you just threw my problem to the wayside.

Expectation exceeded
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the HT50 hammer tracker to install R15 batt insulation and some vapor barrier on our new extension , it met my expectations and then some. Very easy to zip right along the stapling flange.
We also had to re-roof our garden shed. After removing a previously poorly installed shingles it was time to lay down 15# felt paper. It took some practice not to smack my knuckles on the roof surface but after about a dozen swings and tilting to staple hammer I was able to save my knuckles and not tear the tar paper with nose of the hammer.
Thank you Arrow for making these jobs easier.

I use this product for everything
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only down side from this product is that it only holds 1.5 clips of Staples and some models hold 2 full clips.the main reason I choose it is because the "head" is bigger allowing it to hang in a hammer loop on my tool belt while other.."nicer" more expensive models are thin and fall right thru.the staple capacity is an issue tho.in the mill I use this and it doesn't matter because I put the half clip on the work bench.but in the field I have to keep the half clips separate which is a pain in the but.i still love it tho.i have FOUR of them in my Jeep right now. Great product

I use this product for HVAC. Hanging duct and equipment for light duty. Works fantastic

I use this product for HVAC applications as far as hanging duct work to wires and also venting applications. Works great and is very dutiable when taken care of.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hammer tacker (the HT50), is one of the best ones I've seen or used. My dad has used his for years, and multiple coworkers in construction use it. About 2-3 weeks ago I bought my first hammer tacker. For something compact that I can stick in my back pocket, I chose the HT55 slim hammer tacker, but alas, after only about 2.5 weeks of occasional moderate use, the hinge-pin sheared off and the entire staple carriage fell out. Thankfully, I was able to bring it back to Home depot and get it replaced with the HT50. Super excited for my new purchase! (Promo code 1117)

Heavy duty stapler that takes the abuse
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to redo some insulation and it tackled the job easily and sunk every staple without any misfires. It is a very durable stapler and handled my throwing it around. The metal feels thick and this thing has no flex. It is also heavy so the weight helps when slamming it against something, but not so heavy to tire me out. Note that it does take some force to staple, and trying to do more delicate stuff(making a canvas for painting) did not sink the staples all the way because I was not slapping it hard enough. This is not a delicate tool.
But over all it is durable, gets those construction jobs done. The weight, the textured grip, and the 2 sticks of staples it holds all help to make this convenient while working.

Faulty push rod
I recetly purchased this product about three months ago for work, ive used it mainly for packaging everyday that was until it broke on me.
The push rod was what gave out that thin little metal that held in the rod was way to thin it easily bent and snapped off, this would be they only upgrade I would recomend.
To my knowledge I was told this tool would last me years not months I was also very disapointed to find that almost no store had the part i need for this product, finding this push rod for my hammer tacker has been a stress never though such a small peace could become a big problem, my last resort was to check arrow.com but even the main source didnt have the piece I need.
Thanks,
Yours truly ,
A disapointed customer
