Hummingbird Feeder - More Birds - Diamond - 30 oz - Red

This feeder is the best! I%E2%80%99ve been feeding hummingbirds for 20+ years- and I have finally found my favorite. Large capacity%3B easy to fill and even easier to CLEAN. There are many feeders on the market and many are beautiful%2C but with the narrow neck they are hard to keep clean. This feeder has a wide mouth making cleaning easy and thorough. %0D%0AIf I had two suggestions for improvement they would be a slightly larger ant moat (I live in sunny CA and the water evaporates very quickly in the summer heat)%3B and the other suggestion for improvement would be a stronger hook. Other than that I give it 5 stars and I own 4 of them!

This is THE BEST feeder! So far I have purchased 16 and I wouldn’t use any other kind. I purchased my first one 4 years ago and the Diamond Feeder love affair grew. I donated my other feeders and went strictly to the Diamond. Wide mouth EASY to clean!, easy to pour nectar into and easy parts to clean. I have an abundance of Hummingbirds so they must love them too. I will have 8 feeders hanging and get the other 8 filled then rotate them out to clean. With the wide mouth cleaning and filling is a snap instead of a challenge. If you buy a Diamond you will donate your other feeders. I guarantee you!!

When I purchased our first Diamond Feeder some years ago, I did exhaustive research looking for a BPA free feeder, but was unable to find one. I also noted after using that one, that the ports were rough and collected what I hoped was debris or mold. I am extremely pleased that More Birds now produces the Diamond Feeder in BPA free plastic, and the new silicone ports are soft for the tiny birds beaks and tongue! I only wish that More Birds had the 7 ports of older model, rather than 5, but the wrap around perch is a good improvement. I do wish a replacement glass container was offered, if even at a premium. This is still, and more so now, the best hummingbird feeder out there—thank you, More Birds!

Not happy with it,gonna return it. I've had hummer feeders for years and have several now. They don't spill when hanging them like this one does. If tipped to much it goes to the mote and down your arm. Why didn't you just put a seal on the inner ring ?. Any of the feed escapes we then have bee issues. Ants shouldn't be a issue to the bottom tray unless you are setting it on a table because if the come from the top they usually head to the only access, and that would be the ports. I was looking forward to a 5 port since we have so many feeders and birds.

We love these feeders. We had one of your older ones with a wide opening and several from another company but with a small opening for the jar to pour in the nectar. These new feeders with with the soft silicon center of the flower is much better. We purchased 3 and then were overwhelmed by the birds so we purchaser 2 more. Having 5 flowers versus the older one with 6 work out better for the birds with a bit more space on the perches. They are so easy to take apart, clean and refill.

The feeder is very attractive. A few concerns: the feeding platform is flatter than others I have had, therefore collects pollen and airborn residue easily; the plastic tray pieces must be carefully screwed together to seal tight enough to avoid leakage if the feeder tilts. The other problem is unique to me, because I have small hands, it is harder to manipulate the pieces in putting them together and taking them apart again. The early Humming Bird arrivals are enjoying it !!

I bought this hummingbird feeder for two of my Grandchildren. They are ages four and two years, the perfect ages to be awed by the little winged wonders. The feeder fell well within my budget and yet shows like a feeder of a much higher price. Most importantly for the health of the hummers, the base comes apart for easy and thorough cleaning and the nectar reservoir is glass, permitting easy washing with hot soapy water and equally easy rinsing. An additional bonus is the built in moat on the top that discourages ants and ‘wigs from invading. On a future iteration, the designers might wish to consider a deeper moat. The children and Grandchildren love it and boy does it get great results, they had so many hummers visiting their neighbours were jealous. More birding fun for the young in the land of the red maple leaf.

Best feeder for size & money and holds more liquid than a regular feeder. I've had this type feeder previously and it lasted an easily five years. However, even though the jar is heavy glass, the base feeder unit will give out first. It would be nice if the base feeder unit was available for replacement but only the access flowers are available for replacement. The ant mote is another plus as I have seen Chickadees use it for baths.
